I thought of this recently when we had to put in a code. Here you can tell the difference zero- 0, letter o- O. I wish they made them to look a lot different when printing out for everything. When they're side by side, you can see a difference. But if it's the only one, you can't tell lol

Sometimes (although, when hand-writing in contexts where they're likely to get mixed up, I add a dot in the middle of the zeroes )

I don't think I've mixed them up when using the computer as the zero 0 is more narrow than the O/o. For writing, I usually put a line through the zero to avoid confusion.
